My toddler wears these almost every day now, and the soft fabric hasn't pilled once after a dozen washes. The ripple blue color is a bit more muted in person than on screen, but honestly it still goes with everything in his drawer.

The ripple blue shade looks even nicer in person, and my son has basically claimed them as his daily pants. They've held up through plenty of washes without the color fading, which I wasn't expecting at this price.

The fabric is so soft my daughter wears them two days in a row if I let her. The waistband doesn't dig in, which matters since she's picky about anything tight. That ripple blue washes up nicely too, no fading after a few rounds.
